I was just wondering, does the keylogger go with the rest of my files after I format my computer? I would also like to know if keyloggers can attach itself to other file. Thanks in advance.

BobRAnd a full format will wipe all files- Windows, your files, drivers, programs - and keyloggers. (Yes, yes- there will be objections that "keyloggers can persist hidden in your CMOS" or whatever. Not likely.) So yes, formatting is a "solution" to a keylogger infection. But it's far easier (and safer for your computer, unless you know what you're doing) to use a good spyware scanner along with your regular anti-virus scanner. I recommend using "Malwarebytes", restarting your computer in Windows Safe Mode if necessary, to scan your computer, find and remove any keyloggers you may have picked up. That way you avoid all the hassles involved in completely wiping the hard drive and having to start from absolute zero.
