Wanting to dual boot off of Win7 and XP, Please help.

Hey guys! I've been trying to make my computer have a multiboot system with Win7 and WinXP (originally 7). I'm very confused on how to do so as of now. I've made a 49GB partition on my computer and now i'm stuck. I have a Windows XP disk but i dont know if it's the right one because it was obtained when my other PC was purchased (I have a laptop). Anyone who can help me step by step what to do? Thanks smart people :D also is there a place i can download Windows XP for free because i bought my laptop with windows 7? And where would that be? ok thanks :D

Well, all you have to do is boot from CD, then install XP on the partition.

Well i put in the CD, it goes through this giant load up of the disc and when its just about to start, i get BSoD :/

Look for software that can be used for Windows. Getting XP for free would be illegal, by the way.

itsAshli I don't know much about what you're trying to do, because I've never done it before. The link I have you was just for dual-booting software.

Shouldn't there be an option when you put the OS disk in to install to x partition?
