| Foreword I'd like to compile a list of bugs, glitches, exploitable features, and player requests. I will update this thread as much as I can. I will be posting this on the Nexon forums, nearing its completion, as well as sending tickets and possibly sending a letter to Nexon. Please post any bugs, glitches, exploitable content, and player requests that you have regarding MapleStory. For every request that I receive that is similar enough to another request, I will place an asterisk by the already-posted request. Please don't leave comments saying "how about nexon shoves a blahblahblahblah." We don't need that. This is legitimate, and to be taken seriously. If you are willing, please send a ticket to Nexon, or even a letter, with the following bugs, glitches, exploitable content, and player requests enclosed. The more, the better. Thanks, Russisch Bugs/Glitches/Exploitable Content - After logging off of an account and attempting to log back on immediately after, players frequently are disconnected from the game entirely. - Flash Jump occasionally passes through walls - BPQ displays a permanently recovering Balrog in front of the actual Balrog - Omok mini-game text-box is out of line and needs to be centered - AP/SP giveaway event has ended, however the message box regarding the ability to claim them still appears. - Damage displayed does not always match damage dealt (IE, killing a monster with a "Miss," or hitting 100 damage on a Shroom and merely halfing its HP) - Combo Smash will occasionally deal no damage to monsters - After changing channels while using Dark Sight, a Shadower will deal no damage with Assassinate if the skill is executed while still in Dark Sight - (!) Windows 7 and Windows Vista users experience frequent, random disconnection, as well as ridiculous amounts of lag - After using storage (and sometimes unconditionally), players experience random game closure - Wind Archer skills are displayed as Crossbow skills - Corsair's skill "Hero's Will" is displayed as "Speed Infusion," with the Speed Infusion skill description - Frequently, when in windowed mode, even if the sound is muted, the background music will continue to play at full volume. - Monsters spawn instantly without a fade-in animation - When using the "Tab" key to cycle through Buddy/Party/Expedition/Guild/etc tabs, players experience a disconnection - Some players receive medals and titles for which they did not meet the requirements (one example being a Pink Bean Slayer medal in existence long before Pink Bean's first defeat, another being a Celebrity medal earned by somebody with 21 fame, who'd never had their fame below 0) - Magicians can teleport through the floor in Henesys Park - CPQ monsters are occasionally summoned in the air - Marauders disconnect from the game on the ride to OSSS, as well as other event maps - While the shop remains open, the shop window that shows your available items, messages you've received in your shop, and your total of mesos will some |
