Finish chinese school or quit?

So.. im currently in 5th grade chinese school.. And next year i am going to graduate from it(finally) But the thing is.. I dont know sh**.. I mean like seriously.. i only know how to speak the language.. i cant read, or write... And the teacher expects a 2 page essay every week.. So far i was able to pull it off with my mom and with a lil luck.. a fat lazy teacher.. But this year.. the teacher is expecting a 4 page essay+ Memorizing a page of chinese text..+Reciting it.. every 1 or 2 weeks.. So.. with 1 more year till i graduate.. So i quit or grow some b lls and pull myself through it..(i have spent 8 years in chinese school LOL.. flunked several times/quit)

I use to think that too when I was in Chinese School. I soon regretted it and I know less about my own historical language than I do about English XD I'd finish it if I were you, but essays are drag fo sho D:

if you go to the shoong chinese cultural thing, dw about it. just continue its easy as crap. i stopped listening after 2nd grade and passed up till 7th grade in chinese school. then i quit for an internship

Finish it. If you have Chinese in high school, it'll be an easy A. Most of my friends who had more than 6+ years of Chinese took Chinese 1 freshman year because it was an easy class for them, unlike me, who ended up with a B/C.

I don't know about USA, but doing Chinese in Australia helps boost up your year 12 score alot, thats why I'm finishing it lol.

i stayed 7 years in book one. i think i went book two but i didn't like it. mostly i just wanted to be with the book one teacher cause shes really cool.

Chinese is a useful language. No matter what job you're trying to find after school it'll help you a lot. I've been taking chinese all my lifeee since like preschool up till now (11th grade). Just finish that shiz
