Str or No Str?

I'm planning on making a Gunslinger, but I don't know if I should go with the normal AP distribution or go pure str. Are pure dex slingers bad? Or are they generally acceptable?

... go low str, cap around 50-60. And slingers use dex, not str ._.

I'm not super sure about this, but I think given the present circumstances, I believe you should stay strless for a while until more is known about the VIP weapons.

Do not go no str... it doesn't help a lot for slingers cap str at lowest as possible if ur going to use concerto.But going strength less is bad when you get to higher lvls because of your sucky W.D Equips and stuff of that kind

I think it depends on how available the VIP gun will be because a 127 gun that requires no str to hold that has 92 base attack is better than a concerto.

It doesn't matter if you use a VIP gun or not. You will need STR to equip level 70+ Pirate gear, which you absolutely must use if you want to take advantage of potential.

I agree with the above poster, and strless slingers are generally bad. o_O; Makes even LESS sence to make them thanks to % equips now.
