yeah what the title said i was thinking of switching for a hasty jolteon with thunderbolt,hp grass,baton pass and wish.. just comment i don't use pseudos because i don't need one yet. Im currently training some for my team and only have 2 so far -.- i have Electrivire @ Adamant nature Thunderpunch Cross chop Ice punch Earthquake 345 ATT 149 Def 192 Sp. Att 179 Sp. def 281 speed I know its not good but its a start, im planning on replacing electrivire anyways

You should try to put more thought in your team. Here's example of one of my most successful teams. This was made before Salamence became uber so i guess now Salamence is now Dragonite. Name of the team: Gyarados is a pretty good lead IMO Tier: OU (Overused) aka Standard This is easily my most successful team. The success of this team lies in the lead. I made it to start dealing damage right off the bat while making status leads useless. After his rampage, i go to one of my many wall breakers and revenge killers. No one in this team is a setup sweeper except Gyarados, who's my lead. I decided against set-up sweepers because i don't want to lose tempo. Team building process: 1. I started with Gyarados because i wanted to base a team off of him. 2. I added in Salamence because i wanted an offensive team. Salamence is the #1 wallbreaker in the game and is needed for every offensive team IMO. 3. I added in Scizor to cover for Salamence's weakness. Gyarados also works well with Scizor so it's good synergy. Scizor is also the best scouter in the game. 4. I needed someone who has the power to own while absorbing electric attacks aimed at Gyarados. A revenge killer/tricker is also nice so Rotom instantly won. I chose Rotom-H for the lucario and scizor check. He also absorbs explosions and fighting attacks while dealing with walls. 5. After covering Gyarados, i needed someone to cover Scizor. Scizor is just asking for fire attacks. Heatran was the choice because he just eats up fire attacks and can also carry Stealth Rock. He also takes the ice attacks aimed at Salamence if Scizor isn't there, or vice versa. 6. Finally a spinner is nice so i chose Starmie. It can kill late game and also spin away hazards for my team because i switch a lot. He also shreds teams without Blissey. The Team Gyarados Lum Berry Ability: Intimidate EVs: 252 Att/ 4 Def/ 252 Spe Jolly Nature Waterfall Stone Edge Dragon Dance Substitute Description: My new favorite lead. This thing is awesome. He is able to setup on most if not all of the common leads. The only thing that shuts me down is tauntdactyl and tauntazelfs. For every other lead, i'm almost guaranteed a Dragon Dance. I chose Waterfall+Stone Edge for it's amazing coverage. Waterfall gets STAB, a nice flinch rate, and is able to beat leadnapes, leadheatran, leadhippowdon, leadttars, a lot of things. Stone Edge is for the Salamence, Zapdos, and other Gyarados that might switch in. It's also so i don't get walled by Vaporeon. Substitute+Lum Berry is where he really shines. Against status pokemons, i DD on the status move (ie: Thunder Wave, WoW, Sleep Power, etc). After the DD, i substitute when they try to status me again. This leads to another free DD, then i proceed to sweep. Substitute also really helps on exploders like Metagross or Azelf. EVs: Simple spread. 252 att to deal as much damage as possible. The 252 Speed+Jolly Nature is to outspeed every nonscarfed pokemon, even base 130s (This REALLY helps against Specsjolt). T

aznseal i c you use alot of Ou pokemon, i was thinking of making a Rain dance team with kingdra and gorbyss as my sweepers, obviously i would have some water/ground to take t wavers who want to stop my sweep.

[/quote] I play OU ladder. There's no reason to use a UU to limit myself in OU.

[/quote] My team was made for the metagame like a year ago where every other lead was either status leads, or metagross. I would take the status on a status lead, or simply sub first turn vs metagross and DD when he tries to break my sub or explode. Against azelf, if he does a turn 1 SR and i do a DD, i can outspeed his explosion with substitute.
