skwiggle : Sure he's got no arms, but to be bluntly honest that just wasn't very good at all
actually, that was pretty good. It wasn't a difficult piece, but do you really think that a foot which has less reaching ability than a hand and more difficult joint movement abilities can play pieces that are insanely difficult for professional pianists? The fact that he can play without errors and even show some body movement and dynamics is absolutely incredible. above prosthetic arms and legs are very expensive, particularly in china. Most people are unable to afford prosthetic limbs. Only people who can afford full size houses are able to afford prosthetic limbs, and full size houses in china are extremely difficult to obtain.

I've seen people paint paintings (really well), play the violin and other instruments (really well), eat noodles and use chopsticks just as normal people do. All missing one or two limbs on the street. Kids too. He's just richer than those people. Not to say i don't respect him though.

how is that sad well, it's sad that he lost his arms but even that isn't worth crying over. i've played that piece, it isn't hard (at all), so i guess him playing that song didn't effect me as much as it did to you.
Well, because this is how people think. A landslide crushed a car. The mother in the car desperately lifted up the lid to save her children. Out of sheer will, she managed to free her only baby, and let the lid fall back on her, out of strength. She knows shes not gonna make it, so she took out her phone and wrote: "I love you forever and always. Please be strong." and died. Later, rescuers arrived and realized how tragic this was, the news reported it. Many people cried. opposed to: A major earthquake struck India. 100,000 were killed. 1 random guy killed in the earthquake was named Bob Joe Smith. He will be much missed. Boohoo.
gotshroomz510 : why wouldnt get a robotic arm or something...
They don't just fall from the sky Mr. Gates. Also, why would you cry? That's showing a sad emotion. Meaning you feel bad for someone. In this case you feel bad because he has no arms. That's messed up because he doesn't want people to view it that way, plus he has come all this way to function the same. He doesn't want pity yet that's what people give him.

For example, sometimes, when there's a really beautiful scene from a movie showing a person's determination and willingness to go above and beyond, a lot of people cry.
