Skyward Sword's Graphics -- Don't Undermine Them!

A game that looks like a perfectly painted picture. Skyward Sword's graphics are freaking brilliant and is a completely new thing. I don't know for sure how they managed to make a game with such a type of graphics, but the fact that they did makes this Zelda game that much more brilliant. All I see is a bunch of people hating on the graphics saying it looks too "cartoony" and a "poor mix of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess." How many people said Wind Waker's graphics were terrible at the beginning and then fell completely in love with the game when it came out? Just about everyone. The Legend of Zelda series is supposed to be a tale of a fantasy, not a realistic war-type game that is supposed to have one hundred percent relation to real life with the best graphics ever. Anyone who says Skyward Sword's graphics are bad really needs to learn how great and unique the graphics for this game really are. I'm sorry for sounding like a nerd in rage, but damn. So many people are hating on their first impression of this game when in fact, this game has way better graphics than Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. /nerdrage

They're unique and different, but is that necessarily a good thing? Those kind of graphics kind of look like N64 graphics.

They're using shader models which is pretty unqique. Although this has been done before... in quite a number of games.

Twilight Princess graphics were the best. This is....okay I guess, but that scorpion seems so blocky just like N64. With better colours, of course.

Yeah, i love these graphics. Its a nice change i think. I cant stand when they make Loz games all graphical like they did with Twilight princess. Twilight princess graphics were so good that the whole game was completely dark and i just got really really bored of playing. Im still hopeing for another Windwaker style console game though. I would buy that in a heartbeat.

I liked the darkness of TP though. It had a new kind of feel to it, instead of the happier LoZ games. I'll give this a shot though, graphics aren't everything, but these are new to my eyes. EDIT: It seems that the background is a lot less refined from the main things... Hope they can adjust that soon.
