How to make black screen go away on camstudio

When ever i record a video, its all fine.. but when i want to see the video,... its a black screen? Any help please?

You might need CODECS. What's the file extension and compression of the video?

Microsoft video 1 is compressor.. and file extension is avi i think? if thats what a file extension is

.avi hmm there should not be a reason why you cannot view it. You can go troubleshoot this with the makers of the program or browse their forums of users with similar problems.
