What is heal damage and heal experience based on?

Hey guys, I'm a level 38 cleric and my heal is almost maxed. I know heal 240%. But I wanted to know. 240% of what? Is it from my magic attack or something else? I heard that it would be 240% of my own max hp. That would mean increasing my max hp would increase my damage right? But is this treu? Because I have no idea xD. I also heard that some clerics traind at DTs and stuff with someone they could heal because healing gives exp. But the highest exp I ever gotten was 33 from one heal. That isn't really alot to train with. So how do I train with that? And if someone could tell me the formula for that that would be cool. ^^ Thanks in advance, Alchamy

While I don't have the formula, heal is based in INT, and the % given is a multiplier in the formula. Heal doesn't net much exp, I believe the exp was implemented to make clerics WANT to heal other players, making it somewhat worthwile for them. The moat I've gotten from a single heal was a few hundred exp, not enough to make it a big deal. Just keep pumping into INT and you'll be healing a party of warriors easily. Also, there are better training options than DT's nowadays. I reccomend reading an updated guide. Good "luk" with your cleric! Hope I helped some.

you need to train with something you get exp on too like pt exp, the highest heal i got was like 250 exp from a Spearman with HB xD so i guess heal is for dmg for clerics and heal pts for pqs and junk if it helps the highest damage i ever did with heal without any buffs on holy weak is around 7k

Funny thing about clerics as they progress. You always know your heal damage in mobs in second job, but as you go on to third and fourth job, training with different skills, your heal damage becomes unnoticed. Just today I decided to really look at my heal damage, and I was popping off numbers like 23k on a single skele. It's kind of surprising to see.
