My db is lvl 38 attk range 100-438. Is this any good?

That range is pretty low, I think at your level mines went to around 700 o.o

my 70 in the 300 now but back then i was un funded but i was a little stronger

Its fine as long as you know how to level up. Low damage might prevent you to go MP3 early, therfore you wont be able to Jesters at 70, and so on.
