Woodsman A woodsman is a bowman that takes advantage of *The Blessing of Amazon* and *Focus* to gain +36 free accuracy, allowing for a beginner with more strength(and therefore more raw damage) then a normal build. In the second job, a woodsman can use *Power Knock Back* with a bow to do damage, instead of their toy weapons, since the Maple weapons can be equipped without a dex requirement. Many Woodsmen who focuses on Power Knock Back prefers to be called a "Bow Whacker" rather then a woodsman. Standard build: Blessing of Amazon -> Focus -> whatever, since you need to burn AP

Sounds awesome Kev! I heard about it, but now when described better, it sounds like real fun! Whenever I'll achieve my goal/ want a break from my BW, i'll go right to it! It sounds a bit like a Brigand actually, but It has much more acc, and besides, Mastery works on it! (Does it?)

PKB works off of the (cross)bow damage formula, so it doesn't work as well for normal Woodsmen. Still, it's a good build, though I'd go with a Brigand first for the second-job mobbing.

Because all I see is a copy&pasta and a "poll" that doesn't support enough detail on what we're voting on. KTHNXBAI :3 OT: If your going to do this build it would probably be better w/ Wind Archers as they get a mobbing summon and less SP req for their Focus... since PKB isn't really usefull 2nd job is going to be hell for you until you get some supports at 3rd job... I tried this and I kinda failed due to using a warrior build instead of being dexless..

IIRC PKB works off of DEX not STR.

PKB works off of dex. This oddball has been done before. Check the stickied threads "General List of Experimental Classes". You use common weapons your whole career if you go Str build (woodsman). A Bow-Whacker doesn't put points into arrow blow or double shot and uses just the standard arrow-less attack until 2nd-job where they use PKB. A Bow-Whacker goes a with a normal bowman build. We actually have a hybrid bow-whacker/woodsman in Fired. IGN: ibrokemybow Stat build is a balance of str and dex. If you wanna do it, great~

PKB works off of dex. I've done this multiple times. If you want to see something interesting, though, go make a Wind Archer. Do this build--max sprite in first and still keep your dex at a decent level. Your damage will be beginner-or-better and the sprite'll add in a good punch every few seconds. Not to mention you can still equip bowman armor and use bows if you really want to.

If you wanna do it, great~ [/quote] Before Dbs came out I started leaning towards str more than dex because it's not an oddbuild if you use a bow and double show, however storm break is very quick and fun to use. . I might PyPQ with that character soon.
