I heard that if you're a higher level than the monster, you will 100% hit the monster. If this is true, high dex will be less important. Since beginners train on monsters many levels lower than them, they shouldn't need dex. That would mean you would scroll like: Helmet: HP, def. If you are really funded and just want to throw away your money, scroll for dex. Top: Str, HP, def. Bottom: Jump, def. Overall: Str for funded, if not def is good alternative. Shoes: Speed, jump (not for the dex bonus, but the jump bonus.) But that's just me so you could still do what you want.

This is true from what I've read, and since jobless classes mainly train on stuff lower level than themselves, it'll be a good thing for regular training.

Also I heard that supposedly our max will always be 5 times our minimum damage regardless of DEX. But yeah, I'm glad all of my DEX equips are replaced with Speed or STR equips on icy89firaga already . As a result of this, I will also be deleting and remaking my Legend post Big Bang since all the DEX I have is going to hurt me. Plus I'll get a lot more kick out of my godly Dark Snowboard that way.

I'm still not 100% sure but from what one of the posters told me, my damage will be equilavent to Min Damage ~ Min Damage x 5. Either way we get 20% mastery AND a chance to critical hit. Well.... Poo. My 73 base dex looks stupid now. Also looks like no more bossing for me. I like to kill bosses when I'm lower leveled than them. I'll have to get to level 100 just to hit crog apparently. and 101 for HH...I don't like this. It's going to cost an ass load to reset my dex and MP...jeez...I can't afford that.

I know how you feel. My 45 dex base is a lot (not like yours =P) and I don't have much nx. Pray for nexon to FAIL and hopefully have to give us all about 40 ap resets again. I wish I had known about big bang when I had some resets. I used 10 to take out of str and put into hp. The other 10 to remove mp and add str. I didn't know how to hp wash, this worked, but more resets to do it. I wouldve had a 25 dex base.

I have 50 DEX base and I hope they let me lower my DEX down so I can maximize my STR. I'm happy I managed to replace all of my DEX equips with STR ones though. And I heard you still have a system that you STILL need some accuracy to hit. But I don't think anyone will know for sure until the patch ACTUALLY comes. Heck, one week accuracy = completely pointless then the next week you need x accuracy at similar level to 100% hit monsters. By the time it's done accuracy could be the same as it is now.

you ppl do reallize that if the min X 5 = Max hit...i will be hitting 2.5k with a warrior pot..... Though i will be taking hits alot worse. 94 str i hope i can get alot of def from equips sooner or later. =P

[/quote] Nexon already gives you skill resets, I'm sure they'll give ability resets as well or they will face the wrath of the dexless sins, which we know is 50% of maplestory.

But w/ all this stuff coming out is it possible they raised the avoid and acc cap? does that mean I can have my ORIGINAL goal of 2K avoid? :DDD
