ps3 vs xbox360 controller FPS games

I enjoy playing FPS games on the 360, but I've never played them on a PS3. I want to get a PS3, but I'm really comfortable with the 360 controller since I use it on the PC. How comfortable is the ps3 controller compared to the 360? Has anyone played like CoD or something on both PS3 and 360?, which has better controls?

I have both, i prefer 360 much more. Ps3 just feels to light

Ive played both but i like 360 controllers more even though i prefer the ps3 system better

I have the 360 and my cuzin has the ps3 and hes a die hard fan. But he prefers the 360 controller over the ps3 when it comes to FPS such as MW2. #60 controllers are made for FPS.

Did you know you can charge an Xbox controller on a PS3 system? I tried it, it really works. OT: PS3 controller I find better.

In my experience, FPSs are just so much more enjoyable on the PC. Honestly, keyboard and mouse is just a million times better than a controller when you're aiming at stuff. So go download Steam and then get PC FPSs.

I play really good with the PS3 controller. It could be because I only have that console, or it could be that it is good. I mean, the controller is simply the opposite of the 360 controller. 360: Big, fat, your hands hold it firmly with your whole palm touching the controller. PS3: Small, slim, part of your hand and palm touch the controller, while the rest is not. Some prefer controllers that way, some do not. I prefer letting air pass through my palm, cause I tend to get sweaty after long times playing. Both hands are at the same position, so it doesn't really feel weird and you don't have to confuse yourself and such. I just can't play with the 360 controller, they're too big even though I have big hands. But don't forget, people can play at the same level of professionalism on both controllers, so one is not better than the other. I prefer the Ps3.

I have a 360, and I've played a PS3 controller. I have to say the 360 controller is easier to play with, imo. The PS3 controller is nice though.

The only reason I like the xbox 360 controller better is because of the extra weight. I dun like the ps3 controller cause it's tooo light.

[/quote] I'm actually the opposite, I don't hold the 360 controller with my palms because of my grip style and my small hands, but both the ps2/3 controllers have to touch my palms. Also, I like the buttons on the 360 controller better, they're firmer, which makes me feel more comfortable. This reflects in my keyboard choice, because I hate the standard keyboards that have the raised keys that jiggle and make loud clicking noises when pressed. I like the laptop style keys better. It's really playing style and preference when it comes down to it. I'll actually use either. :D

hmmm.. I did like the ps2 controller which looks similar to the ps3 controller, but the xbox 360 controller has the RT LT buttons which you can press lightly or all the way for driving games =/.
