In my opinion Tespia was a complete letdown this time. This are my reasons as to why: 1. The majority of the people thought that it might have to do with the Big Bang Patch, it wasn't. 2. It lasted only three days. 3. Due to the short amount of time it lasted the "testers" were only able to complain on the biggest issues, even though I am sure there were a lot more small bugs and glitches. I know that number one might be biased since Nexon never said that they were going to Test the Big Bang Patch and that it is my own fault for jumping to conclusions and thinking that they were going to test that. But still... they should know better. EDIT: I was NOT selected for Tespia so stop assuming I was. I am not complaining that I wasn't chosen either, it was all random so it is all just luck.

Did Nexon plan to shut it down in 3 days? Or was it because there was an issue with user abuse? Even so, you're only supposed to be testing the new alien content in henesys, if I recall correctly. The new content shouldn't have more than 10 maps. 3 days is more than enough.
takeback3r : Studies have shown that it only takes a couple hours for bugs to be found when patching content to official MMO servers.
This does sound accurate, but may I see these so called "studies?"

Atleast some bugs were found, it'd take multiple server maintenances to fix them

It says Tespia might be reopening again. Nexon might be fixing bugs then re-release it to testers again to check for more bugs?

If you check the site it even says to come back and check for another opening date they may be fixing all the current bugs/glitches so we can test again I personally would like to finish the Cube PQ
markedmask : So your complaining because you were wrong about content? Why would you even think its about big bang stuff? did nexon ever say so? And the biggest issues that the testers found would have been the biggest issues (imagine that!) and it is a good thing nexon is getting them fixed. Would you rather they release the new patch, and have to take the game down for 7 different 10 hour server checks to fix it all, like they usually do? They will still have smaller glitches, though likely many of those were found too. Less game-breaking accidents like the 50%s will be around, if they keep going with Tespia. Crappy as Nexon is and has been doing lately, I think Tespia is one of their better moves for a good while.
Good gaming companies give players 100% satisfaction. Nexon hasn't given people much satisfaction with the dull content of Tespia, the short amount of time, and the fact that players chosen for Tespia are picked at random.

Big Bang was NOT suppose to be this soon. Didn't KMS just finish the Big Bang story line with the release of Mechanics? Second, you should be grateful that you were picked to test out the new items, and to my knowledge, you guys were the first to test this out because it seems to be a GMS exclusive at the moment. Finally, you were there to test Tespia for bugs and glitches, not just play around. I'm glad they didn't repeat the same mistake as last Tespia, allowing everyone to mass level. Three days is enough since Maplers find horrendous glitches the second new content comes out.
Takeback3r : No? Small bugs get found fast, big bugs get found instantly. The APQ bridge glitch was found pretty fast and that's pretty hard to stumble upon. I don't understand the need for an example really, but ok. That's more than likely a glitch with the fact that it was a tespia client relating to a tespia server. The hardware/software still isn't the same as the official server, which means that it's possible for tespia-only glitches to occur. Big bugs existing doesn't mean smaller bugs are harder to find.
Big bugs do mean that smaller bugs are harder to find. Imagine this: There is a big wall and behind the big wall there are some small stones. You are facing the front of the wall. Therefore the big wall is not letting you pay attention to the small stones.

As it has already been proven countless of times ThaiMS also has what GMST was testing. And exactly they found horrendous glitches but I bet that there are many many more that the testers were not able to detect due to the magnitude of the obvious ones.

Most of the testers didn't even report anything... they just complained to US about the stupid bugs and glitches that were presented in the game =.=
hyperfire7 : Even so, you're only supposed to be testing the new alien content in henesys, if I recall correctly. The new content shouldn't have more than 10 maps. 3 days is more than enough.
Well, there were other aspects to test apart from the new maps. Like, the rate/density of the Alien enemies in the non-event areas, which areas were correctly "invaded" and at the right stage (goes from spaceships, to dark sky, to exploding ships over the course of the event). Also, the content was added in pieces; things like the transformations (introduced on the first day) were tested more thoroughly than say, the Party Quest (introduced on the third day), which was impossible to finish. For this kind of content set up in "stages", three days is cutting it short, but I digress.. More testing is needed, but I think that's something Nexon is likely to finish up themselves.
