| Ok, I swear, there are WAY too many new groups being debuted. There's at least 3 or 4 new groups monthly. While I love a great diversity in Kpop, it's getting a bit crazy. Especially this group. GP Basic. While I respect girls who follow their dreams to become popstars, the fact that their average age is 13 years old, the oldest person is 15, and the youngest person is 11, is kinda scary. http://www.kpoplive.com/2010/08/04/koreas-youngest-girl-group-yet-to-debut-next-week/ Despite the incredibly young age, they do have a nice song. That's even scarier, it's a pretty good song, and yet, now when I hear it, I'll think of 12 year olds singing. =( Their voices are high, but that's nothing some electronic pop can't fix. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ObR1oUcCYlE I'm having a hard time accepting this group >< Opinions? Kpop haters, please do not post, as you will be reported. |

| That does seem ridiculous. But I hate a lot of KPop, so I guess my answer was pretty obvious. :Ic It's probably just a movement that will die out in a while, and I doubt a lot of the newer groups will get much anywhere, unless they miraculously spring out with a hit song. |

| i'm not a huge fan of kpop/jpop w/e because the sound is wayy too dependent on voice editing, but i do like some songs because they're insanely catchy. yeah, i don't really like that group. They aren't very good dancers at all compared to other groups and one of the voices is pretty high pitched. |

| Wow they sound like Justin Bieber... But yeah this is pretty ridiculous. Like I can understand have like one 16 year old in the group and the rest being like 18+. Like Sohee in Wonder Girls, Minzy in 2NE1, and Suzy in Miss A. But the average age being below 18 is just ridiculous. |

| I'll never understand why people waste their time with Kpop. If the massive amount of new artists isn't the hint, it's just a get-quick-rich scheme. |

| OMFG LOLOLOLOLOL They're music is OK but they're too young and their voices are pretty annoying. Somehow the song is catch and I feel like I want to kill myself... I like K pop and but this is kind of weird... |
Get rich quick scheme or not, I'm not paying for any songs, so I'm perfectly fine with it. Besides, Kpop is the only music I find entertaining since I like to dance, and not lady gaga-style. |

Sure they'll make a lot of money and become a huge hit, but within a night, they'll lose their fame. Like Jessica Simpson, Shawn desmon, soulja boy... the list goes on. |
I'm a pop dancer [mostly dancing to kpop] and I can say right now that if i were to be able to make a kpop album in a group or whatever, I would be extremely happy, whether it sells or not. Heck, even a youtube MV would work for me. I guess it's the experience, I'm sure those girls are qualified enough to even be picked at all, so once they're 20 or older they could pursue the professional career. Some people just have dreams of being a professional popstar, and it's great to see them living their dreams i guess. |
