"You may not use scrolls on this item." ?

How come when i try to enhance a few items of mine, this popup would come up saying im not allowed to use scrolls on the item? Has anyone experienced this before or know how to fix?

If you mean enhance as in equip enhancement scrolls, those can only be use if the amount of slots is 0 (I think?)

Did you leave the slots...? You can only use enhancement scrolls on equip items that have 0 slots left.

I've only got a pop up like that if there were no slots or if it's a durability item.
