Maplestoey error- Invalid Pointer?

I tried to start maplestory this morning and it was working fine forabout 30 mins, then maplestory closed and a message showed up saying 'invalid pointer'. What does this mean?

i think that's when you press continously the esc button it's common when i try to cc lol

It's A programming error, since a pointer is like an arrow, and you might have done something, or something happened that caused the pointer to activate. but since the pointer is pointing to invalid piece of code, it return's the error. I <3 Love programming!

[quote] cesar5555 : i think that's when you press continously the esc button it's common when i try to cc lol [/quote] from my experience, i don't think that's exactly what causes it, but you're on the right track. whenever i try to change channels or enter my PIC and i get a little bit of lag after, sometimes i'd open the menu again and try to reselect my channel or reenter my PIC. having that menu open while the game finishes processing your last request to do the action somehow confuses the game and claims you have an invalid pointer.

it's your cursor. <<(I think)>> when it's laggy and it often happens when you cc your cursor isn't the white glove and i think maple automatically closes on you. it happens
