To play pc games like mw2 or l4d2, smoothly with no lag at all. Laptop model is hp 6930p, specs are: Intel core 2 duo P8600 2.40 GHz with 3 MB L2 cache RAM : 4 GB DDR2 800 MHZ Hard Drive : 160GB SATA 5,400 rpm Optical Drive : 8X DVD+/-RW DL Display : 1280 x 800 px Graphics : ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450 256 MB (Default: Intel GMA X4500) Bluetooth : Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR q Operating System : Microsoft Windows Vista (downgrading to XP) Just asking, does an integrated graphics card hav its own ram? Can this laptop support these games? If yes I'm probably going to buy it.

You probably would get away with minimum setting, but it most likely won't reach 30 fps. (30 FPS would be considered "smooth")

Yes you probably can, your graphics card is better than most integrated ones and my dell can already play it pretty smoothly, so yes, you probably can. The only down part is, the hard drive is a bit small.

Why is the laptop still shipping with Vista? Windows 7 has been out for a while now. Also, I recommend that you do not downgrade to XP unless it's absolutely necessary. Many of the compatibility issues with Vista (which are the same ones as Windows 7) have gone away over the years, and Windows XP is basically running on life support now. Microsoft is only providing security updates for Windows XP SP 3 now, and new software is going to require Vista or Windows 7 going forwards.

Its with the laptop by itself already, u can't really change it.. Looks like I have to get lower settings... :/

You can play them but you will run it in the minimum requirements, and still it would be slow. I suggest getting a new graphics card. Try to get one with DDR so it can run smoothly. That graphics card is pretty weak. You're probably paying more then you need to.

The graphics is about the only thing holding you back. CPU and stuff are fine. Also 7>xp>vista.
