Well, before you get started reading, this is my first Skill Build. I designed it to help people level up that level up normally, and keep in mind this is my first Skill Build and I only made it because no one else did and many keep saying: "WHER SKILL BUILD PLZ I NID SKILL BUILD PLZ" but not that over exaggerated. **FIXED FOR NEW KMST PATCH** Mechanics, The new Resistance class that is similar in some ways to that of the Pirate jobs. Mechanic AP Build Since they have guns, Id say use the Gunslinger AP build, STR your level, rest on DEX. You should also know that Mechanics DO NOT consume bullets while in their Mech. 1st Job Flame Launcher [Mastery: 20] (140% Damage?), 6 Targets, Burn Effect for 8 seconds, -7 MP, 120% DoT DMG for 5 seconds Metal Armor: Prototype [Mastery: 10] Summons Metal Armor: +600 HP, +500 MP, +700 Defense, -50 MP Gatling Shot [Mastery: 15] (120% Damage?), Hits 6 times, -19 MP Drill Rush [Mastery: 20] 170% Damage, 10 Targets, -35 MP Also, please note that I am not sure about the damage of Flame Launcher and Gatling Shot. You get your dash in your beginner skill book, which automatically has 1 SP, so don't ask about that. This dash is like the Aran's Combat Step. You can press the left or right arrow keys twice to use the skill or you can put it on a key. (I recommend pressing the arrow keys twice) Mechanic Skill Build Level 10- Metal Armor: Prototype +1 [1]; Flame Launcher +4 [4] Level 11- Flame Launcher +3 [7] Level 12- Flame Launcher +3 [10] Level 13- Flame Launcher +3 [13] Level 14- Flame Launcher +3 [16] Level 15- Flame Launcher +3 [19] Level 16- Flame Launcher +1 [20, MAX]; Gatling Shot +2 [2] Level 17- Gatling Shot +3 [5] Level 18- Gatling Shot +3 [8] Level 19- Gatling Shot +3 [11] Level 20- Gatling Shot +3 [14] Level 21- Metal Armor: Prototype +3 [4] Level 22- Gatling Shot +1 [15, MAX]; Metal Armor: Prototype +2 [6] Level 23- Metal Armor: Prototype +3 [9] Level 24- Metal Armor: Prototype +1 [10, MAX] Drill Rush +2 [2] Level 25- Drill Rush +3 [5] Level 26- Drill Rush +3 [8] Level 27- Drill Rush +3 [11] Level 28- Drill Rush +3 [14] Level 29- Drill Rush +3 [17] Level 30- Drill Rush +3 [20, MAX] You should get 65 SP total from levels 10-30, including 5 you get from level 10, and not including the extra 1 SP from your 2nd job advance. SP Distribution Outcome: Flame Launcher : 20, MAX Metal Armor: Prototype : 10, MAX Drill Rush : 20, MAX Gatling Shot : 15, MAX You advance to 2nd job just like the other resistance classes. 2nd Job Mechanic Mastery [Mastery: 20] W.ATK +20, Mastery 50%, ACC +60 Rocket Punch [Mastery: 20] 420% Damage, 6 targets, 3 Seconds Stun, 20% Critical, -35 MP Mechanic Booster [Mastery: 20] 220 Second Duration, -21 MP Rocket Booster [Mastery: 20] Jumps a certain distance, 360% Damage upon landing, 6 targets, -20 MP Open Gate: GX-9 [Mastery: 10] Opens up to 2 gates in ONE map. Freely move between these gates. -50 MP Perfect Armor [20] Reflects 500% damage taken when hit 30% chance. Atomic Hammer [20] Aweso

Wouldn't you want to max a mob move before a single enemy move? and want max robot first for the DEF and HP? which would reduce the amount of pots needed just saying

What ^ said. It wouldn't matter which skills to put in at first job because everything is maxed anyways. Also by the time mechanics come to GMS, training spots would have changed. Also in 2nd job, you already have mobbing attack that hits 10 monsters and also rushes them so getting rocket punch straight at lvl 30 over mastery is a bad idea. Edit: You do not need 10 booster so early. 6 booster to last a minute as already good enough and mastery can stay at 19 because the extra accuracy is not needed especially since you're a gunslinger.

[/quote] The first job skills do matter, because a skill build is a build that shows you what skills are good for training and the order you should get the skills, not what skills are useful. Getting rocket punch at lvl 30 is a bad idea, but not because you should put mastery. If you could put 1 skill point into Open Gate, it could improve training speed. Mastery is not a priority because atomic hammer would be better for faster training. Drill rush does hit 10 monsters, but the delay is HUGE. This is why it's recommended to use atomic hammer right after you gather a mob with drill rush. |

I don't think this is something that should be started until people confirm how the Class fully functions not just its skills, but SP, Job Advancements and more. You should wait until it gets itself out of the Test Server otherwise people are going to make screw ups like on the Dual Blader Guides.

Flamethrower does 90% and acts like a mobbing rapid fire, but you can only hold it for 8 seconds. It gets upgraded by a 3rd job skill that increases damage to 140% and adds a DOT. Likewise, gatling gun starts out at 70%*4 and gets upgraded to 120%*6 later. Also, flamethrower requires 10 gatling gun, so you'll have to edit the build a little. Nitpick: Mechanical armor gives 500 HP, 500 MP, 20 ATK, and 400 DEF at max. @Beef, that 10-mob move, Drill Rush, got moved to 1st job. They have atomic hammer and critical punch as 2nd job mob skills.
