Which is better: Mechanic or Dual Blade?

Dual blades do a lot of damage, but are mechanics better? Please state your reason.

i just think mech looks nice. but im only waiting for Wild hunter. thats the job that i will fall in love with. multi colored mounts? Shooting while on the mount = hit and run. of course that will be fun. mech looks amazingly fun too. so heck, im going to make both of them, just probably not a battle mage.
