Looking to buy a vintage computer.

When I say vintage I mean a computer like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/LEADING-EDGE-Computer-Monitor-keyboard-software-/170517780074?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27b3a6d66a I have a few questions: What would be the best type of computer to buy if I just want to mess around with it? IBM? Apple? Also, is there a known retailer for vintage computers, or is Ebay the only way to get one of these?
