Got this awesome overall, but i have no DEF -_- what do?

I found a Purple Avenger +25 LUK +5 MP 40 DEF +2 ACC +11 AVOID I'm a pretty crappy sin if i do say so myself, and this helps out a bunch. The thing is that I have even less DEF the Jr. Wraiths hit me 60+ compared to the ~20 they hit me before. I was wearing the regular Red Moon set before. Btw, I have a shinobi braceer, but i have no funds to scroll it, my current 100%'d claw is stronger than it any suggestions about that?

Just use it. DMG > DEF

I don't see the point in doing high dmg if monsters end 1 hit KO me. xD D; does anyone know how i can get more DEF?

well, if you're worried about def, get a zhelm. That's 150def right there. A blue belt gives about 40 from dojo. That's 190def + the overall, which gives 40 so 230, not to mention your shoes, etc.

That concern of monsters OHKOing you... If they OHKO you with the Avenger, they'll OHKO you with the Red Moon set. You have like... 1500 HP right? If a monster does 1600 damage to you with the Avenger on... you'll take 1560 damage with the Red Moon set. Defense doesn't make a big difference unless it's like a situation you're in and you're particularly interested in saving HP pots. Like Orange said, Damage > DEF. It's not an opinion kind of thing, you're just going to have to trust me on something like this.

W8... What mons will hit u 1600+? Unless ur at dojo... I don't see any mons will hit u more than ur hp at ur lv training places...

There aren't any. But that was to address her concern of: "I don't see the point in doing high dmg if monsters end 1 hit KO me. xD " Second point, if the monster does that much, you shouldn't be there anyway. Oh. I just thought of one. Zakum. But you're supposed to get HP equips for that, not DEF equips.
