Grandpa's sad korean war story.

My grandpa was 12 when the Korean war began. He was running away with his mom because his father was apparently at war. But a bomb blasted them and his mom instantly died, and my grandpa got a bomb piece pierced into his hand. He dug a hole with his damaged hand, to make an grave for his mother. He left her and met with the US soliders. They wanted to take my grandpa to US but, he said no. He has their binoculars and they are really old. He said this to me when we were going to our grandparents grave, which is in at east side of Korea. My grandpa was letting his tears out when he was saying it.
