Take a shower at the gym?

Do any of you take a shower at the gym? I'm about to go in about 5 minutes with my cousin but we're going to her dads house right after because family is there. We don't have time to go back home after the gym. I'm thinking about not even going because I really don't want to take a shower at the gym. Yes, the gym equipment and weights are dirty, but the showers are even more so. What would you do?

Just take a shower there. It's really no big deal. Just get in, rinse, get out. No real need to use shampoo, i mean if you want to go for it, but i recommend getting in and out asap.

You can put on a bathing suit and shower if the problem is that you're self conscious... Or skip the shower altogether and use some cheap bodyspray to mask the odor.

[/quote] just cause a guy showers in public with a swim suit that doesnt make him self conscious, maybe he doesn't wanna be naked around other guys maybe cause its... i dunno.. gay?

It's not that I'm self conscious... I just realize that I'm going to take a shower in the dirtiest place in the gym, so either way I feel I'll be dirty. I just find it kind of gross, but at the same time I don't want to be smelly when I see family... I guess I'll just sacrifice dirt for stinking up. Thanks
