Mastery Books affects total sp?

When you purchase a mastery book from the cash shop it gives you an extra sp when you use it and its 100%. But say if you get a mastery book drop from a monster do you still get the extra 1 sp or do you lose it? Also, if we do use the mastery book that we get from a drop, does it affect our total sp in the end? In a simpler form, would we short some sp, because we didn't buy it from cash shop or would we have extra in the end? (End of that job)

I got mine gifted from the CS and it didn't add an sp to slash storm . You will have extra points in the end unless you waste them on skills not needed. Off Topic: Can you even get the books from monsters?

yes you can get lvl 70 mastery books from monsters, im currently in bera and i've seen some going for 10m-30m im def gonna buy it like this so i can save my nx for hair and perma transparent hat if it's still there? btw, can anyone confirm there is still permanent trans hat? thanks =) P.S: lmfaoo i keep rambling but, is true that you can get cabana boy hair in ariant and heneseys through VIP?
