I've had only two serious relationships in my life. My wife of 17 years and an ex girfriend. Both relationships I entered impulsively. For example, my ex wife and I were engaged after only 4 dates. I promised friends and family that I would enter my next relationship thoughtfully - meaning that I would date numerous ladies before any serious committment. I went on match and I've had dates with 4 gals - two of which i like very much. And i've lined up dates with 3 others in the next week or so. Now for the problem.. One of the two girls that I like is getting serious about me (we've had 3 dates), and we have been physical. I like her very much, but I still want to shop around a bit more. the guilt is killing me.. i realize that i should have told her early on that I would be dating several gals. I don't know what to do.. i've lied to this wonderful girl about my weekend plans and now I'm caught up in a web of lies. I don't want to hurt this person... I'm thinking of buying her lunch this week and coming clean.. is that the right thing to do?

Don't feel guilty. You have NOT entered a commited relationship with any of the women yet, you have not made any of them your girlfriend. Therefore, you have no obligation to be faithful to them. My current boyfriend/fiance asked me to be his girlfriend after at least a month and a half of dating. He was upfront during our very first date that he would likely be seeing other girls. Only after we made our relationship official did I expect him to be completely loyal and faithful to me. Just because you sleep with someone, does not mean you're automatically girlfriend and boyfriend. Don't worry about getting physical with her, just use protection, and make sure she understands where you two stand.

i was kinda in this boat once? and i came clean to 2 of the guys outta the like 5 i was talking to cause those 2 were getting serious, and they're like don't worry i get it, you're a single gal, we're not dating. then they're like if we were dating it'd be a different story as to where i responded with yea of course :] and i continued seeing the 5 guys.
