Are archers weak at the second job advancement?

Are both archers in the second job achievement weak?

bowmans are terrible till they get to Bowmaster 4th job... there they're average. but before that they're just plain bad =[

Arrow bomb is pretty awesome for the mass mob stunning and when I got to 3rd job on my ranger Strafe, Arrow Rain, and Inferno were all awesome Though I guess Arrow Bomb/Iron Arrow is the only new attack 2nd Job Archers get, though I wouldn't call those attacks weak. Most of the skills are buffs/support moves.

first job isn't so great, second job is sorta bad but if you know where to train its not too bad, third job they're pretty fun with all the new attacks, fourth job is AWESOME.

1st job is alright, 2nd job rocks my socks off, 3rd job is the best 3rd job out of all the classes, and 4th job is a dissapointment for BMs and an awesomefest for MMs.

I liked my Xbow pretty well. He was rather powerful at 2nd job. at level 43, with a warrior pot i could almost hit 3k. I had about 40 str btw, and i has not really funded.

My bowmaster was strong at 2nd job, 3rd job is when it got boring, holding on arrow rain for 50 levels

Hunters are... okay. I admit at first job, they're utter trash. I mean really, no innate mastery on double shot? Youch. Third job gets better. Never got to fourth job so I can't put any thoughts there. Though I would assume they get even better.
