Anyway, when you have to create a new character and it will come up with 4 choices. Explorer/Dual Blade, Explorer, Aran, and Evan. Did you choose Explorer/Dual Blade?

click your lightbulb or go talk to maple admin, they should give you a letter, that will tell you you can go to the dark lord and become a dual blade very simple, i had the same problem at first.

Dark Lord doesn't like Frenchies. o: OT: The very first thing you need to do when making a Dual Blade is click the light bulb over your head when it pops up to start the quest chain. THIS IS IMPORTANT, PEOPLE! I know that bulb can get annoying during event time, but it's not always a burden.

Okay, granted you are a dual blade, you probably can't "advance" to a rogue, < proper spelling btw, because you're already a thief. A thief is the main title for assassins, bandits, and dual bladers. The 1st job title for either an assassin or bandit is a rogue. As a dual blade, you cannot become a rogue because in a sense, you're already a "rogue." I hope this answers your question.
