Ok i just got back from visiting a friend in L.A. Overall the trip was great but being from Minnesota and never been to L.A. before I was a little disappointed. Its exaggerated alot and not as good as people say it is. Really i wouldn't recommend going there unless your going to Hollywood. The ticket was $500 so w/e. So if you havent gone, dont go. But if you have, give your experience

I had a lot more fun in Hawaii than L.A. I guess the weather was nicer, and it was easier to spend time there. The ocean water was a LOT warmer too O_o.

I have only been to LA once, but only to go to Universal. Normally I only go near LA when I am driving up to Anaheim to go to SixFlags. I try my hardest to avoid LA traffic.

The only time I went to Hollywood was to go to Universal Studios and go to the King Kong thing. But on MS I told my friends I live in LA and I said I was bored,and they over exaggerated and said "How could you be bored?It is LA!"

I've been to SF several times, but never LA. I've taken trips to Fisherman's Wharf and all that, but thing that bothers me is the strange people I see there o.o Where I live is very peaceful and comfortable though, compared to both.

Im disappointed on this thread..i was born in L.a.. how can you you guys say its a bad city..its not even bad..it depends where you at..coz in l.a theres alot of towns in it.soo yeah when you go to clubs its awesome..

You need to know people who live in the city. Being like a tourist and reading those tourists books is crap. The only way to know which places are the best and most fun, you need to know people who knows the city well.

I live about 5 minutes from Lax sooo, I really like this place. Since I dont have a car because im 14, I can ride my bike to the Beach, Mall, Movies, Park, Santa Monica Peir Hiking Trails (Kenneth Han) all in under 1 hr (about 20 minutes driving, ) and sometimes only 5 minutes away (biking) also in the winter time, you can find really nice mountains about and hr or so away ALSO, IN AND OUT IS THE BOMB, its like rite next to LAX

If given the choice between nyc and LA I'd go to nyc. But LA has nice weather.
