So why is there so much hostility between hybrids and pure spear/ pole arms? I mean in you honest opinions why? Not to start a flame war just wanna get a point through in my head.

I have not seen this hostility that you are talking about. Besides, I believe it's better to go hybrid.

hybrids don't hold hostility to pures just the ones who suggest that pures are somehow better (untrue) / super prideful (rather annoying)

I wouldn't say that we're hostile toward them, but we ARE adamant in giving hybrid as the only correct mechanical advice. Given that there is nothing - quite literally, NOTHING - that a Pure can do that a Hybrid can't do just as well, when people ask what build to go with, there is absolutely no reason, no advantage, to being Pure. Some insist that there's some "pure pride"... which is bullox, quite frankly, because I don't see how there can be pride in knowingly going into a suboptimal build for no particular reason. So I guess that it's quite a bit more accurate to say that when it seems like we're showing hostility in reaction to someone claiming Pure > Hybrid, we're hating the player, not the game.

Well not always here on basil, I was riding the boat at orbis and asked a lvl 120 DK if we was a pure spear or hybrid and he said "pure, Hybrids are for *****" I mean Are Hybrids any good for being able to use both pole arms and spears? Or are they worthless compared to pure spears and pure pole arms?.

I think after big bang the mastery booster and stuff gets mixed into 1 thing ex. its not gona be 2 separate mastery its only going to be one mastery so the "hostility" is going to end soon

Hostility ... is pretty much whenever you act ... confrontational, really? When you're really angry with someone and you're letting them see that, you're generally acting hostile. Anyone who clearly wants to fight over something is being hostile.
