Training at newts is quite boring. I suggest that you try training consistantly and get your lvl up at a speedy rate. when your level is constantly changing you'll feel closer to your goal, and that may help fight off the boredome. Also, double experience help greatly.

I don't see how people think it's boring. I trained at Newts from 80 - 97. Do you guys watch TV / Movies while doing this? Anyways, think of the damage at 4th Job. What's making me get to 120 is knowing that I will be the first Corsair in my guild.

Or buy a 2x exp card and 8x for 30min, and 4x for 1:30, then 2x for the rest of the card's duration. I've been leveling a lot recently, already lv87 and I'm still inspired to keep going because I keep leveling.

Well.. if it inspires you somehow... I got to 120 today, leveling on newts from lvl 80 . Didn't take so long, really. I 4x'd most of it though.

OT: Listen to music, pay less attention to MS and more to the TV or w/e, so it feels like you're not actually grinding, but you're watching TV and magically getting exp at the same time.

if you want to be less bored and you have ice splitter (you should have it) you can always hop on down to the closer platform and take 2 at a time. You take big hits, but you gain exp faster and it's less boring.

@above I dont think taker on 2 newts at lvl 87 is very efficiant. When you lvl up for you'll need the second one to satisfy your killing rate. But for now you wont be able to get enough damage into the second newt before the first spawns again (which is cancelled out by the tie required to freeze and take damage from the newts).

If newts are too boring, try an alternative for a bit and then come back.

i feel your pain man. Newts might be the best exp per kill, but if u get so bored you dont wanna train then it doesnt matter how good the exp is, since your not getting any :p try going to vikerolas or kents or something that requires more than spamming BF from a safe distance. If you find a fun training spot, you wont notice the lower %per hour because your having FUN...the thing this game was made for :p ps: i hope you have splitter otherwise newts are your only real option until u get it :p

Yea i had the same problem as you but your know what just stick with it. If your bored then go kill memory monks or train in gallops with friends. You will waste alot of pots but its not as boring and when you get tired of those guys go back to newtz. Just train in different locations and you will not get bored

If you think 40 levels of newts is gonna be boring, try doing 130-200 at skeles. Not once did I ever feel boredom while training. If the class bores you, it's not for you no matter what "inspiration" you try to seek out. Becoming a sair isn't going to make this any more exciting for you if you don't like it already.
