I'm a level 131 aran with 1179 MP. For some reason when i use the AP reset, i can only reset STR or DEX. Using the MP formula, I calculated that i have 500 mp more then the required. Is this a glitch? or do I have to add HP first then reset MP because i was planning to reset my MP first then when i level up i will add HP since i dont want the AP reset to expire. Thanks in advance guys.

You can't just take it out of MP and put into HP straight. There are two ways to wash. Level > Put AP from level into HP > Use AP reset and take a point out of MP and put it back into main stat. or Use AP reset to reset a stat and put into Hp > Use another AP reset to take it out of MP and put it back into said stat. You can't just take it out straight though.

Exactly what Shadow said. It's because hp and mp are both in the same pool. Ex. Str, dex, int, luk, hp/mp, So it's like taking a point out of strength and putting it back in, which you can't. Edit:Oh wait, I read your post again to see that you can't even take mp out in the first place... I don't really know the formula to find an Aran's min mp so I can't help.

HP and MP share points. Your HP and MP currently have 0 points. When you put a point into HP, you can take out of MP.

Alright, here's your problem: You have 2 pools at the moment, one with your HP/MP and one with your stats (str, dex, etc) Your HP/MP pool starts at 0 points. To take out points, you must put in points. So, you must first put a point into HP, and THEN take it out of MP. You have to go from 0 to 1 to 0 to 1 to 0, not 0 to -1 to 0 to -1 to 0.

HP and MP share the same AP pool. If you never added into HP or MP at least once, then you cannot take anything out.

You can't have any more AP in your 4 main stats than ( 5 (level - 1) ) + 25. Oh yea, remember that MP from equips doesn't count towards your base MP.
