Anyone get any problems after the db patch?

well ever since i got the new db patch downloaded on my computer maplestory has not been starting... hack shield loads and everything but then my screan turns black with little pictures of the things i had on my desctop before i started maplestory and in a couple of seconds everything disapears and my screan just stays black forever.... anyone else got the same problem (i could only play maplestory on windows mode even when maplestory did work)

I started the DB patch and it said error after 30MIN of patching so i had to start all over and it took 1 HOUR all 4 maple anyways i thought i wasnt going 2 play DB but i just randomly started playing it -_- i hope i dont quit my Evan

go task manger and go processes..if maplestory process is on end it and start up maple again.. i feel laggey because of the patch

Exact same thing happens to me. I just wait for like 5 minutes and it works. Don't start frantically clicking everywhere, pressing control/alt/del, or alt/tab, alt/enter. Just wait it out.

I have the thing where it zooms into the left corner, then goes black for 3-5 seconds, with the cursor at the top left, then it goes back to my desktop. I've tried the process thing, it doesn't work, it starts as a process again. But, when it goes back to my desktop, I get the error "########### : -(Bad Variable Type)

Yes, I did have a few problems with maplestory after I downloaded the db patch. whenever I started my maple, it'll go black and then zoomed into my desktop for about 10 seconds...then go black with the ms mouse at the top left corner 0.0
