Can you save Skill Points until 3rd Job?

Hi Everyone, Can you save Skill Points until 3rd Job? There seems to be some question about what we should do if we reach 70th LVL and the 3rd Job is still not available. Does anyone know what will happen? Can we continue LVLing past 70th and save the Skill Points (SP) until the 3rd job comes out? Can these points be used once we get the 3rd job or is there a risk that we lose them? I have been hearing rumors that there is no problem in continuing to LVL. I'm not sure you can save sp but I would figure you could. I figure you should be able to keep lvling though. MS will probably make some adjustments so that ppl who have reached the highest lvls won't feel cheated.

Wizet has not made any official statement on this. *Rumor* has it that you can save your points after level 70 and apply them to your 3rd job, however, I have no reason to believe that this will function any differently than 2nd jobs points in that you have to use all of your points (get them down to 0) before you can make the job advancement, which means that you would get the points, but could only apply them to 1st and 2nd job skills. If anyone has anything *official* to indicate otherwise, please post a link to their web-site where this information can be found...

yea... u can save ur skill points if ur at ur 2nd job and waiting for 3rd... but u can't save from ur 1st job to 2nd

somehow i doubt that. that would mean as soon as new patch comes out every char could have their super skills maxed out, and thus flood the market with finings from balrog runs. maybe u will be able to save SP, but i doubt u can use the same skill points while 2nd job in 3rd job skills, cause then someone can skip on some 2nd job skills (ie holy arrow in exchange for shining ray) and use em in 3rd. separation in SP points maybe?

In fact it says that you need to use all of your SP before making the 3rd job advancement in the tip of the day.
