what does fame actually do?

ok so i know this has probably been ask a million times...well i'm gonna make it a million and one ^_^ so what does fame do other then have certain amount of fame to do quests?

actually fame does help with rare drops but you do not get rare drops more often actually with higher fame its rarer to get rare drops BUT BUT BUT when there is its most of the times OVERAVERAGE but with low fame its lots of rare drops but underaverage which no one will buyq

Well, I only have fame 16, so I guess that's why I don't get many above average rare drops. It's ok I'm used to not being lucky. I still haven't reached a million. I just do the best I can. I'll quit MS when my best isn't good enough.

On GMS there is one quest that requires 10 fame, and several items that require 20 fame. In addition, certain cash shop items will require fame. That's it. As far as I know, fame does not affect drop rate at all.

fame helps magicians buy cerytain magician crap, and helps people remember you cuz i always remember those guys with 993 fame =)

this is a good question~ i want know too~ but i guess~ the fame just let ppl know how about urself~ but in game everyone are trade fame and fame cant actually work~ so when we begin to trade fame ~ fame just a number.......
