Hybird DK in the making, need help!

Well, since my friend said he's coming back for a bit, he was going to make a Cleric, and I was going to make a DK. So, I looked up some builds, and liked the Hybrid DK build, so thats what I'll be taking. What I can't decide is, should I get FA or go FA-less? As far as I'm aware, FA is useless starting from 3rd job onwards. But, is it really worth getting? Can someone clear this up? Thanks!

FA helps you on 1 monster, a little on 2, hurts you a little on 3, and is bleh on 4+. The best 2nd job training maps today have large mobs (Truckers, MP3, WRs). Go FA-less; it says so in the guide anyway.

Since when is it possible to go FA and Hybrid? If it is then i still recommend you don't. It's got a high potential to mess everything up.

[/quote] it used to be(or still) called the 1.5 hybrid build. its for those early spear to late hybrid players. i had to do it way back when no one knew about different builds for the dk. for the op. do full hybrid for now. *search stickies*..you won't regret ever doing polearm first, but after big bang it won't even matter.

The whole point of going hybrid is not getting FA and putting the SP into mastery/booster of the other weapon. Hybrid 1.5 is for people that started off thinking they wanted to be pure and went hybrid. There is no way hybrid 1.5 is better than hybrid, so definitely go full hybrid.

well, even after the big bang update, when FA is aplicable with crusher, FA is still not worth the SP. i screwed up and put 1 in FA...... xP Total FAILURE.
