I may expand this into a guide if people like this, but for now I'm just getting the idea out there. Not sure if it's been done before, but I haven't seen it before. I've been working on my 2nd assassin recently thanks to nexon deactivating my account and not sending a reactivation e-mail, and I decided to test my own build.. works out decently for me cause my old one was regular dex and now I can make a dexless without feeling bad bout forsaking my old hermit... It's normal for the most part, but plays around with demi-mastering critical and working on other skills prior to 50. 30: 1 Claw mastery 31: 2 claw mastery (3 mastery) 1 critical throw 32: 3 critical throw (4 critical) 33: 3 critical throw (7 critical) 34: 3 critical throw (10 critical) 35: 2 claw mastery (5 mastery) 1 critical throw (11 critical) 36: 3 claw booster 37: 3 claw booster (6 booster) 38: 3 Critical throw (14 critical) 39: 3 critical throw (17 critical) 40: 3 critical throw (20 critical) 41: 3 haste 42: 3 haste (6 haste) 43: 3 haste (9 haste) 44: 3 haste (12 haste) 45: 3 haste (15 haste) 46: 3 haste (18 haste) 47: 2 haste (max) 1 critical throw (21 critical 48: 3 critical throw (24 critical) 49: 3 critical throw (27 critical) 50: 3 critical throw (max) Now, I know this may seem to be a bit controversial, but I've played around with it and gotten many comments on how strong it is. It's perfect for CPQ since it focuses on killing quickly since it adds booster so early. quicker attacks = more kills. Works especially well since relying on criticals can wind up leaving you with only half of your kills being ohko'd and the rest still requiring another hit. Especially recomended for dexless. Then continue the rest of your 2nd job with: 51: 3 Claw mastery (8 mastery) 52: 3 Claw mastery (11 mastery) 53: 3 Claw mastery (14 mastery) 54: 3 Claw mastery (17 mastery) 55: 3 Claw mastery (max) 56: 3 Booster (9 booster) 57: 3 Booster (12 booster) 58: 3 Booster (15 booster) 59: 3 Booster (18 booster) 60: 2 Booster (max) 1 endure -or- 3 endure 61: 2 endure (3 endure) 1 drain -or- 3 drain 62: 3 drain (4 drain) 63: 3 drain (7 drain) 64: 3 drain (10 drain) 65: 3 drain (13 drain) 66: 3 drain (16 drain) 67: 3 drain (19 drain) 68: 3 drain (22 drain) 69: 3 drain (25 drain) 70: 3 drain (28 drain) -or- (max) Can choose between 30 drain or 20 booster. Of course whichever you choose is 2 levels lower than max. I personally chose 20 booster on my first sin, less button presses means more attacks means more kills... but it's your perogative to choose whether you're hungry for that extra 4% damage and 2% recovery or the extra 20 seconds of booster. I suggest 20 booster though. the damage difference is insignificant.. and 2% hp will be minimal recovery. Final results at 50 5 mastery 30 critical 6 booster 20 haste 0 endure 0 drain Final results at 70 20 mastery 30 critical 20 haste 20 booster or 18 booster 3 endure 28 drain or 30 drain Well, that's it. comments? complaints? issues? questions? ~ PM me or post.

seems alright since l7 relys on luk not mastery, but you should max crit fist since you have a higher chance of doing higher damage, i personally would go +2 crit and +1 haste each level until haste reaches level 13, then max crit when haste is lvl 13, then max booster, THEN mastery (imo booster then mastery unless u need the extra stars and the little accuracy) but other than that, the guide seems perfect for me ;)

I don't think accuracy is really a problem, and like above and when I personally made my sin I split haste and critical first. That's what really helps you kill the fastest

Comments regarding how good your build is come only because your equips are above average, and thus do more than people who maxed Critical first. If you're strong enough, you may not need Critical at all. For my Ring Mule, I maxed Booster first then moved on to Haste. However, the average sin doesn't have this kind of funding, and needs to rely on Critical first. The proper build is... Mastery (3) Critical (MAX) Mastery (5) Booster (6) Haste (MAX) Booster (18) Drain (MAX) Mastery (MAX) And it has been posted before. o.o; But you know, you can do it however you want. As for your issue regarding Drain / Booster. First off, adding an extra 2 AP into Drain actually HELPS. Adding an extra 2 AP into Booster does nothing. Second of all, you're going to have to time your Haste and Booster with your Shadow Partner anyway, which lasts 180 seconds, making those 20 seconds absolutely worthless. Lastly, you get to max Booster / Drain in 3rd Job anyway, so it's trivial. Maxing Drain earlier on is just... better.

Autumn. Thanks for the input. And yeah, I know the standard build. And actually I disagree with mastery last. Training my first hermit I found that mastery before drain costed a bit more on potions, but was more beneficial in the end, because of the extra stars. +200 when using steelies gets you an extra stack for every 5 stacks you have, meaning 1/6 more training time till you need to recharge. And since mastery effects drain your recovery will be much more stable, allowing you to almost ignore potion use in most cases. Though, I'm honestly not sure how 2 extra points in drain helps that much... I never really felt the difference with 2 levels difference of it.. but hey, like said. it's a choice to be made. and as you stated, you max it in 3rd job anyway. My outlook for this build was a speed kill build. balancing power increases in intervals with speed boosts. And dam, now I feel not-so-special since it's been posted before. I figured it was just one of those things people didn't want to play around with. lol Ianstrange and poomaiac I've never really agreed with +2/+1'ing skills unless you're finishing and starting another. Any time I've tried that before it actually wound up slowing me down. course, it wasn't usually with a skill that works a percentage of a time, but still. +1 haste is barely noticable. while +3 is, you sacrifice a bit of power for a bit of speed. in the end, the speed helps enough to balance it out since you can move on to other enemies faster. (This is of course assuming you 1-2hko your target anyway.)

saying from personal expierence i waited till near the end to max haste i didnt find it all that necessary to walk faster into a mob of std's claw mastery 3..max critical..max mastery..max booster..max haste and drain

If you do mastery before drain, then won't drain be stable, but always weak until you put AP into it? Also, I never had the kind of energy to train past my 8 sets of stars without mastery so I personally don't think the extra stars are important.
