| Before you start reading, my english is far to be perfect, if you're one of those "omg grammar", go ahead, read this thread, but don't spam with those things. Well, there is actually 2 method, i will use the method #1 because level up 4 times in 10 days on a lv148 is a pain for me because i need to do the DB's mask event and adventurer ring. First thing you can't never forget: "You can only take one AP Point out of MP for every point you put into HP". Again, don't forget it. Method #1: You can do this by putting an AP Point from leveling into HP or by using an AP Reset to take a point out of LUK, INT, DEX or STR to do the same thing. After you place this first point into HP, you can now take a point out of MP and place it into HP. You have now enabled yourself to take another point out of MP and put it into HP. You repeat this until you reach your Minimum MP and can no longer reset anymore. Begin: General AP:1 (from level up / ap reset on STR, DEX, INT or LUK) HP/MP pool AP:0 HP:5 MP:5 Resets:0 ->Take one of the AP points and put it into HP. Thsi enables you to take a point put of MP now General AP:0 HP/MP pool AP:0 HP:6 MP:5 Resets:0 ->You can see now you have AP into the HP/MP pool General AP:0 HP/MP pool AP:1 HP:6 MP:4 Resets:1 ->Now use an AP reset to take a point out of MP and put it into HP General AP:0 HP/MP pool AP:0 HP:7 MP:4 Resets:1 Edit: At this point, you're able to take out directly from MP and put it into HP Method #2: This is a different method of HP washing which gives you the exact same result as method one except you should only try this after you level. The same rule in the first method applies so again, for every point you put into HP, you can take one out of MP. You start by taking one of the AP Points you earned from leveling and putting it into HP. Then, you reset one MP point into your primary stat. From there, you repeat this again, taking another AP Point from leveling, putting it into HP, taking a point from MP and putting it into your primary stat. Repeat this until you have no more AP Points from leveling to use. Difference: With method one you don't need to level (if you gonna AP reset from primary stat) or you only need to level once. If your choise is second method, you need to level once to wash 5 times. With method one you gain more HP, but it will cost you an AP from primary stat. Method two: viceversa |

| TS doesnt know crap. Correct way to do it is: Level up +5 AP, get them into HP, THEN reset and take them out of MP, and put them into Primary Stat. |

You do one at a time to make sure you don't shoot farther than your min mp. please atleast be right when you are being a total d bag. |

|
DarkLink75 : I can't believe the OT is fooling so many people with Method #1. IT DOES NOT WORK. HP and MP SHARE AP pools , so if you take 1 AP out of MP, you can't put it into HP and vice-versa, the game doesn't allow it. The only reason you're able to do it with the main stats of STR/DEX/INT/LUK is because they are their own separate AP pool.
I was wondering when someone was going to say this. BowMaster7 explains what should be method one perfectly. I suggest editing your description of method #1 before you misinform more people. |

|
imshocute : ok let me get this straight. say you dont want to lvl. so you do method one... it wud look like this right: -1 pt from luk +1 pt to hp -1 pt from mp +1 pt to hp *repeat until min mp reached -1 pt from hp +1 pt to luk is this correct o.o
This is the best explanation I've seen so far in this tread, except from the last bit, which can be improved. It's amazing how many people can't understand this. I'll try to make it even simpler yet. 1. Calculate how many times you can take points out of MP. (formulas have been posted already) 2. Add one point to HP. It could be from leveling up, or from resetting out of str/dex/int/luk. (In my case, I will reset out of STR because I won't be levelling up and I have too much STR anyway.) Now your HP/MP pool has 1 extra point in it. 3. Reset out of MP into HP. You can do this because you have an extra AP in the pool, then you put it right back into HP so that extra point is still there. 4. Repeat step 3 until you have taken all but one point out of MP. 5. Take your last point out of MP and into str/dex/int/luk (In my case, I'll be moving it to Dex, since I don't want the STR back.) This is really the best way to do it. You get extra HP from each AP scroll you use, not every other one. It doesn't cost any str/dex/int/luk because you'll be puting it right back, and you can do it without leveling up. Actually, if you don't level up, you will be wasting one reset in step two. edit: Ah, TS edited his post. It is more or less correct now, though I'm not sure about some of the specific numbers in the example. I'll post my own in case you didn't understand his. after step one (calculating how many resets are possible, in this example 3): HP/MP pool: 0 extra HP: 0 extra MP: 3 resets used: 0 adding one to HP, in this case using a reset from str/dex/int/luk: HP/MP pool: 1 extra HP: 1 extra MP: 3 resets used: 1 reset out of MP...(first half of step 3) HP/MP pool: 0 extra HP: 1 extra MP: 2 resets used: 1.5 ...and into HP (rest of step 3) HP/MP pool: 1 extra HP: 2 extra MP: 2 resets used: 2 step 3 again (step 4): HP/MP pool: 1 extra HP: 3 extra MP: 1 resets used: 3 resetting back to str/dex/int/luk with last MP(step 5): HP/MP pool: 0 extra HP: 3 extra MP: 0 resets used: 4 |
