I've said it before, I'll say it again. There's lots of crap posting going on in basilmarket. To help curb things, I've reinstated the nasty post limit which is based on your feedback rating. As your feedback improves, so will the # of posts you can submit each day. So don't waste your posts with crap like '1st post', '1st page' and other useless junk which fills up the site. Use your posts sparingly. I'll be tweaking the posts/feedback ratio over time so I won't be making available info on exactly how it works. Suffice it to say, you'll see a notice by the post box indicating that you've only got a few posts left when that time comes.

thats a good idea Mr. Basil. bravo to you, although this wont stop the "1st post" crap. nothing will. Unless of course you put site filters shuttinh out the words "1st" and "post". its definately a step in the right direction though

It helps curb flaming as well. I personally think it might be a good thing. I'd rather not see the "W00t FIRST POST!" anymore. And listairee, what the heck are you talking about?!?!
