Tax in auctions

I'm really cheesed to hear some auctioners try to scam their buyers into paying tax on top of the auction price. ALL auctions have tax included. So if the final price is 100,000, you don't pay tax on top of that. The buyer pays ONLY 100,000, that's it. You don't get to try and scam them into paying tax. Your 'my auctions' page now includes 'tax included' next to the price, so there should be no more confusion.

Awww. Well, I guess it's a good thing. I just knew that some sellers might've been a tad bitter, so I forked over the tax anyway, with or without their asking. ^_^"

Yeah, I payed it too when it just started, cuz I had the cash. But then I heard that some people are demanding it, and that chaps my hide. Totally uncool.

These people still try to add money on top of it. Buying a set of stars for my theif, i was asked to pay 12k over my bid. i didn't and the guy wouldn't trade or leave feedback. So i gave him negative and moved on.

Well the sellers are suppose to include the tax in their asking price anyway. If anyone has been reading Wizet's explaination of the tax system, it clearly states the sellers in fact should add the tax into the asking price before trying to sell the item. But the "tax included" next to each price on the final price is a good reminder that the sellers may not ask for extra money. Good job mrbasil!

wouldn't it be apropriate to say so before someone starts the auction, now my finished auctions have tax included, and maybe, thats not true, since basilmarket never asked if my auction was tax included or not

I noticed that, but paying under 100,000 would actually get you more money... 100,000 * 0.5? < 99,999

I don't do drop trade,I just pretend the tax system isn't even in there,to me it's alright a bit of meso from the tax system, really it's no loss, but I thank you MrBasil for considering those who unaware of the tax system and getting scammed easily, and to this,I applaud to you.

whats done with the money they take from people anyway? I mean, its basically a digital number. Its not like wizet can do anything constructive with it. Most people that i buy from just ask for the same amount without charging tax. many thanx to all.
