My brother and I haven't talked for 5 years and still going

My brother ,Hieu, is 18. I'm 16 now. Back when we were little (me being a 5th grader and him being a 7th) when ever we would fight we wouldn't talk unless one of us found something interesting or funny to share. We had an argument about something I long gone forgot. We didn't talk to each other for a while. While playing Megaman Battlenetwork 5 Colonel, I encountered Bass (a really hard boss) and I said "HIEU LOOK BASS." He didn't reply. I tried a few more things. "Hieu look MAD Tv is on" "Listen to this funny joke my friend told me" Nothing. At this point I stopped trying. He's social in school, but he tends to stay at home and finishes his school work. I for one finish my school/homework work in school and go out after school. A couple weeks later I tell him it's my turn to get on the computer. He mutters some cuss words like Bi- or Fu-- Once my time was up he did it again. This kept up for a long time and it's still going on today but a little less since he has his own room now. We had to share a room with the computer and our sleeping zone as with our items. It got worse every week. He would stop muttering them, and start yelling them. When he got really mad for no reason at all, he would yell them at me and throw my own belongings at me while I hide through the flimsy silk of the hammock watching TV. I've dealt with it for a whole year now. We were living in Cali at this time and my moms side of the family came over and visited us. My aunt had bought me my very own laptop that I could use so me and my brother won't have to share. Less than a month later, my brother starts spazzing at me for no reason yet again. He screams cuss words at the top of his lungs. He ,on one side of the room and me on the other, starts cussing at me and throwing objects. One of them hit my computer screen and destroyed it. I didn't know what to say or do. I teared up a bit. I grabbed my stuff and went to my friends house. 7 hours later I came home. I take out the broken laptop and pressing the power button futilely. My mom comes home and I start tearing up how Hieu broke my laptop and how I was scared to live in the same household. I already told my parents he cusses and throws things at me but all my parents ever do is lecture and yell at him a bit. Another year passed, me being in the 7th grade and him being in the 9th. The cussing kept up. I couldn't take it anymore. Everyday I would have to hear him mutter/yell his cussing. That was the only thing he said to me. I spoke no words to him. Insanity driven me mad. I screamed at him "SHUT THE FU- UP YOU FU- -ER" He cussed at me even more and he picks up my DS that he gave me ,threw it at me, and broke it. I stood in silence and left the room to the living room with my laptop. I teared up yet again. Another year passed, One of my best friends,Henry, had a brother named Kevin. I was good friends with Henry ,kevin, and their little brother that was 2 years younger than us, john. I asked kevin if he knew my brother. Kev

Well, neither am I with my sisters...But if something serious were to happen like a big fight or they got hurt, I'd definitely tell them I loved them and I'd protect/be there for em.

OH MAH GAAD I read it all. I guess that's how older and younger siblings treat each other, I have a brother who's older than me and we don't talk unless it's important But I'm pretty sure it started because I broke his gameboy o__O

"So much drama in the LBC, its kinda hard being Snoopy D-O-Double G." This quote means that, even in the middle of all this drama, you have to keep your character, and solve this problem the only way you know how. I haven't known too many people to completely shut off their siblings like that, so maybe it is more than 1 problem. My friend Justin has a brother who is an artist (his teacher tried stealing his artwork), but they get along well as far as I can see. There is a reason he isn't letting go of one incident.
