Hey everyone, I've decided I'm making a crossbowman finally not because of the big bang patch one bit, they just appeal alot to me, Anyway I was just wobndering if anyone has any tips for me, A fresh character with no money cheers

My Characters: ModernTheory - 50 Bellocan F/P Wizard

Um.. If I were I'd focus on leveling mostly than funding. Seeing that it's a bowman you can always fund it later, and it won't matter. It's not like you need to cap anything, except maybe your STR. Try to get a zhelm before you get to your max STR, a belt and a pendent.

Lucky for you, xbowmen are extremely cheap to fund. Just have fun and level up and read some of the guides on here.

well, along with mages, bowmen are very easy and cheap to start. read the stickies, don't go STRless (unless, by any chance, you got maple weapons on a mule), cap your STR at like lvl 50-60, and have fun

Xbow 30's are like 6-8m ea and 60's are like 1-2m now. They're getting up to the same price as bows. Though I don't think they'll ever be as expensive, they're certainly not cheap anymore. I'm glad I made mine before the bandwagon =)

I'm glad I made mine before the bandwagon =) [/quote] well, except axe saders/BW pages, we indeed are one still one of the cheapest classes in average, lol. claws are still expensive, and daggers are being inflated. wands/staffs might be cheap, but INT scrolls n gear is madly overpriced, warrior stuff has always been expensive, and pirate stuff, while cheap, is rare to find a good-scrolled one and i might not have the insight to get xbow scrolls, but having my CB training at himes isn't so bad
