I don't even understand why people ask these types of questions. What good does it do for you to have this question answered? Can anybody really be the judge of whether 24 minute anego solo at lv 138 is good or not? What if a few monsters got in your way and your time increased by 2 minutes? Is there a big enough compilation of data for anybody to get a grip on what's "good" and what's "bad"? (I doubt that many people even time anegos) >___>. And why are you asking OTHER people if you can be better or worse? How do other people know what YOUR capabilities are? Only you know if you can be better or worse -- and if you can be better, why aren't you better? That's like me, walking up to you, a stranger, and ask you "Can my grades in school be better?", "Can I be a better friend?", "Do you think my marathon time can improve?". Unless, if you are trying to brag, then I guess I'll give you points for trying to be discreet.
Some ppl might take 54 minutes at lvl 138 to solo it, and some other ppl could take 15 minutes at lvl 138 to solo it. Why don't you answer his question? Is he average? Is he weak? Is he strong? That's what he wants to know. -___-

Its not like its a BAD time for a marksman, its kinda obvious that the time is faster than BM his level.
Uh yes, other people can be the judge of whether my time is good or not, what else would be the indicator of a good time? I'm asking if my anego time is good based on the aggregate time it takes for other people to solo anego. And yes, it would make sense for you to ask me if your grades could be better if you were asking me in terms of how other ppl at your school were doing. If it was a really hard school and everyone was getting F's and you were getting a C, then your grades would be pretty good. However, if everyone was getting A's and you got a C, your grade would be bad. I'm asking if 24 minutes is faster or slower than most people my level, not trying to brag. Other ppl are capable are knowing what MY capabilities are based on my solo time, that's why I'm asking... And btw, it doesn't make you look smart when you try and bash other ppl for asking legitimate questions on a forum made for questions like this.

The fallacy is that A's and F's are pre-graded. There is no grade system for anego times. You're better off comparing damage ranges. Or maybe your server response times for your snipes.

He's just asking a simple question which you didn't even manage to answer in two paragraphs. I think it's decent. My buddy usually kills them in 15-25 minutes on his level 144 Marksman (maxed Snipe, as well).

I do agree I could've pulled back on the first half. I just don't like it when one lets others set their standards for them. You should gauge whether 24 minutes is good based on YOUR abilities. But you are entirely wrong about the second half. How good other kids are doing indicate NOTHING about my capabilities. You respond with the assumption that I am an average. If everyone gets a certain grade, does that say anything about whether or not I can do better? No. It only shows where the curve is, and where I rank among them. The average might be a D-, and I might be getting a B, but does that say anything about whether I can get an A or not? No. Other people may know what your abilities are, but why the hell are you asking THEM whether YOU can use YOUR potential to reach higher? If you can't answer that question yourself you can't really expect anyone else to be able to answer it. And if YOU know you are already performing to the best of your abilities, but you still ask others if you're doing good or bad or if you can do better -- then you are trying to mold yourself to fit society standards, something I look down upon. My point is, YOU should be the judge of how well you did based on your standards which should correlate with your individual ability. Your "good" isn't going to be, and shouldn't be, the same as someone else's "good", because everybody is different. An unfunded archer may think 24 minutes is godly, whereas that one guy with a 162 atk engaw probably won't think so; this is how everything in life is. And I don't waste time trying to flaunt my intelligence, I was merely executing my frustration in an educated manner. As I have expressed I don't like to live life comparing myself to others.
Mold myself to fit the standards set by society? Dude, this is maplestory. We have to choose equips from a set of equips prescribed to our class. I'm asking the bowman community, because I am a bowman, whether or not 24 minutes is a good time because the community is also made up of bowman, like myself. Also, if you were right, the bowman % per hour thread would be considered conformist. Are you saying that all the ppl that post their %-per hour are just flaunting. Should those ppl and the ppl that read that thread be looked down upon because they choose where to train because other people get good exp there? No, that's absurd. Your theory may work for things like art or dance, things that have no set standard, but for things like Maplestory which have clear and distinct calculations that go into bossing times and training speeds, you couldn't be more wrong.
