How do mastery books work?

| Mastery books have a certain chance to allow you to put skill points into skills. A 20 mastery book if it works, would allow you to put up to 20 sp in that skill for example. |

| No. It depends on what level your skill is. The skillbook should say what levels are eligible for use. For example. I have level 9 Maple Warrior, but it maxesout at 10. I want to get a max level of 20, so I use the book, and judging by the % rate of success, will determine whether or not it will either raise the max to 20, or keep it at 10. It's only useable at certain levels, barring the level 10 mastery books, which work 100% of the time and can be used at level 1. |

| No mastery books are used to increase the master level of your skills. Your skills start with a master level of 10 and then you use mastery books to increase that master level to 20 then level 30. You still have to use the 3 SP you get every level mastery books just make it a lil more complicated. |

| Get a skill to lvl 5, then you can use a lvl 20 book. Get the same skill to lvl 15 and then you can use a lvl 30 book. Lvl 20 books have a 70% chance of working, meaning raising the skill's max lvl to 20. Lvl 30 books have a 50% chance of working, meaning raising the skill's max lvl to 30. |
