Conintue or restart?

Well I decided I want to continue or restart my hermit, If I do continue/restart I would also need some help on what to buy. My lvl 71 hermit has a base dex of 90 & 275 base luk. He has 3sp & 1 Avenger. I currently have 625m, 12atk wg(h) & a 15/16/16/15 clean zhelm. If I would remake a hermit it would be dexless then convert into low dex later on. So should I restart or continue? Also what equips, stars and things should I get my hermit or new sin?

U don't have enough money to remake and make a dexless. If u like the class that much then i think continue, or rebuild and do something else. Cygs are pretty good for remakes cuz there quick.

Dexless is the better build in terms of money to damage no matter how much you have, though restarting or continuing depends on what you want your dex to be capped at. 90 dex is kinda okay, though having a bit lower would be better. I'd take a look and see how long it took you to get to 70, if it took you a month, I'd restart. If it took you much longer than a month, I'd keep him and keep playing.

[/quote] Upon making my hermit it was quite awhile ago so it took me a bit longer. If I were to remake him now, have him dexless with hopefully good equips i'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to get to 70 in less then a month. So say I do remake, I wouldn't have the ring but would my funding for this new sin be good enough for good damage and such?

Good damage I can't really say. Depends on who you are going to compare yourself to. Are you trying to be the top of the top? If so, no you won't. Compared to most other dexless sins in CPQ? Much more than enough.

Just continue your hermit and wait for the revamp, all your stats will be reset and you can become dexless.

[/quote] yes you would i got by great with my lvl 53 dexless scrounging up money every level, ending up with about 600m in equips

just continue it my hermit is 75 has 110 base dex a 10 att wg and i can outdamage dexless hermits just leave your dex at 90 get enough dex gear to get you 140 and youll be fine

Obviously if you start a new character and do DEXless switch to LowDex you'll do more DMG if you get a lower base DEX than your hermit, but a 90 DEX is not that bad and you could get by with it. The only decision for you now is if you really want to restart a new character to get a lower base DEX.

I want to try and make it to 4th job as my ultimate goal. I would want decent/above average damage but with my funding i'm not sure if I can or not.

Your base is not high, think of this way because you require less DEX to equip items you can focus your equips on LUK and ATK, mainly applies to Capes(PACs) and Shoes(FS), instead of worrying if you even have enough DEX to equip your claw.

From what you posted: Top/Bottom w/ LUK/DEX A 50atk+ scarab. DEX/LUK earrings - depends if you want more dmg earlier or more DEX to equip higher level claws. PAC - DEX/LUK - same as above A deputy star maybe. As for stars use Steelies unless you have enough left over to get 10+ ilbies otherwise go with steelies.
