Luk Dit to Str dit?

Hey guys. I have a major question to ask you all... I haven't put any points into str as of right now, and I'm level 77. I want to wear the dragon khanjar once I'm level 120... Should I put any AP into str yet? And if not now, when? I'm planning on getting an Horntail pendant once I hit level 120, but I still don't know how much base str I should before I hit 120. Can anyone help?

I really dont know. I would add str until your base is enough for the Khanjar, to be safe. I have added str since the beginning on my dit.

Hmmm... I might cap it at 40... Anyone say if that's a good idea? Doesn't it only take 75 str to wear the DKhan? Edit: Answered my own question. With a 22/22/22/22 HTP, 15/16/15/16 Zhelm, 12str top, +5 every stat Black Belt, +5 every stat Dep star, I'm capping it at 16. I'll be able to hit 75 str that way, to wear the dkhan.

If you cap at 40, you better be sure you will have enough stat boost on your equips. I think its 80 str. not sure though

Don't worry about adding str until you're past 110, considering you only want to wear the dkhanjar. Adding str early will only lower your damage range. Try buying str equips or a htp by your 11x's and raise your base str to equal the 75 str you need to wear the dkhanjar *edit: And please have some idea about what you're talking about before posting responses xP You can also find out most of this info in the str bandit guide posted in the stickies Here: http://www.basilmarket.com/MapleStory-Guide-STR-Bandit-264.html @ PlaguePants: Keep in mind you cannot wear a dep star and a htp at the same time. Thank you a lot for your help. I shall wait until later levels for str points. I'm bombing EW right now so damage range isn't even an issue for me right now, so I'll worry about the Dkhan later. only add str now if your going to be using a khanjar, if not go wait till 100+ for d khanjar. although i gotta say its way cheaper to go with khanjar even scrolled ones are much cheaper than the almighty expensive maples shield. str is a blessing once you are in higher levels.
