It's not like comparing a Warrior to a Mage because Dual Blade IS part of the thief branch. It IS a different class, yet it is still melee thief based. Until the big bang, they will overtake Shadowers. Sorry! ~ EDIT: And probably a lot of other classes too.

A mage uses staffs and wands while warriors use swords, axes and other melee weapons. A mage has a sh#tload of MP and little HP while a warrior has a sh#tload of HP and little MP. They are complete opposites. Now look at this, a Dual Blade is in the thief class. A bandit is ALSO a thief. A dual blade can wield daggers. A bandit ALSO wield daggers. Someone's just mad about their bandit getting replaced. /endthread.

Those who already have Bandits or Shadowers will most likely continue their characters. But they are 2 completely different playing styles, in my opinion that is. It'll be like with Aran and Evan, the hype will go on for a certain time, then it will die out, and people go back to their mains. SOME (like me) make their DB their main though.

I rekkon users that are playing bandit will quit it and play Dual Blade. Because it's like quitting DKs for Aran. And they both uses the same weapon. (This is for polearm DK's) :D. When Aran came out, I've never seen a Spearman or a DK's anywhere.
