Am I considered a merchanter?

When I meet new people and they see the stuff I am wearing and chairs I have, people always ask me am I a merchanter and I how no idea how to answer them. So I am wondering am I a merchanter? When I am low on funds which is rare... I will take a break from grinding, questing, or what ever I normally do and spend a few days looking at item prices in fm in and out of the rooms paying attention to price changes and buy stuff from peoples shop and sell for a little more for profit, but I what I mostly do is buy scrolls that are selling cheap and scroll items and sell those items like WGs, Robes, and stuff like that. So am I still considered a merchant even if I do this once in a while and don't spam in fm that I am buying stuff?

Nah, I'm pretty much the same as you. I just stockpile equips and scrolls and stuff, and when my inven + mules get too full then I sell stuff. I don't consider myself to be a merchant. Maybe like 1 week in 6 months, I go into merchanting mode.

If you sell items, you don't even had to buy them. You are a merchant. In maple story and in real life.

It's just that a "merchant" is somebody that buys and sells. "Merchanter" is most definitely not a real word. I don't know why people think of "merchanter" as a real word. I made the assumption that you said "come to cc 17" instead of "come to ch 17" based on the fact that you made the error I just wrote about. CC means "change channels," so "come to change channels 17" doesn't make sense. Neither does merchanter. "Come to channel (ch) 17" makes sense.
