I have some movies on my computer that me and my brother would like to view from another computer that is attached to our HDTV. The problem is that the movie is 720p thus it's like 4-5GBs. When I try to move it to my Nokia N900s 32gig internal memory that has over 19 gigs free, it says the file is too large. I think it's because it can't move that much into it. SO, I'm looking for a way to cut the movie into 2 parts. Help?

BobRGoogle "video file splitter" to turn up a bunch of possible candidates. Many of them also will do the rejoining function so you could splice the two (or more) parts back together on the other computer. Do both computers have Internet access..? That is, do they connect either by being plugged in with a cable or by wireless to the Internet..? If they do, it's very likely both computers are connected directly together already through the wireless (or cables) and the Internet router. You'd have to set up Windows "File Sharing" on both computers, but once it's set up you could just drag and drop the file(s) from one computer to the other directly. Exactly how you'd do that would depend on the version of Windows running on each computer, but it might be easier than trying to split and rejoin files.
